The project consists of safety upgrades that include security fencing (with associated minor site work), exterior door and hardware replacements along with new surveillance / intrusion detection equipment and software throughout the buildings located at North Omak Elementary and Omak High Schools. A new security vestibule at North Omak Elementary is also a part of this project. Omak School District No. 19, Omak, WA, is presently soliciting competitive Prime Contract Bids for Security Upgrades at the Omak High School and North Elementary School buildings. Sealed bids will be received at the district office located at 619 W. Bartlett Ave./P.O. Box 833, Omak, WA 98841. No other agent is authorized to receive bids. Bids will be received until 10:00 AM local time, on February 12th, 2020 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bidders are invited to attend. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. The State of Washington prevailing wage rates are applicable for this public works project located in Okanogan County. Bidders are responsible to verify and use the most recent prevailing wage rates.
