The Sumter National Forest, Enoree Ranger District in Union South Carolina plans to contract for trail maintenance on the Enoree OHV Trail approximately 23 miles located in Laurens County South Carolina.

We are looking for a SWECO trail dozer with operator no wider than 50 inches in order to maintain the integrity of the narrow trail tread with a 60 inch blade or less that is tiltable and 80 horsepower engine or higher. A winch is highly recommended.

An operator with trail construction/reconstruction experience is needed for the work.  Work consists of pulling berms, grading the trail tread, rebuilding rolling dips and super-elevated turns, reconstruct existing waterbars to rolling dips and remove (push out of trail corridor) any "downed trees located within the trail corridor.

This trail is located within the Piedmont of South Carolina where soil types range from sandy, to red clay, to clay loam soild.
