The Department of Education is seeking a vendor to conduct an external evaluation of our Troops to Teachers grant, which was awarded in 2018. The goal of the National Troops to Teachers (TTT) program has been to recruit and facilitate the employment of transitioning military service members and veterans into second careers as teachers. Over the past 20 years, the Ohio TTT program has participated in this call to support transitioning military personnel and veterans interested in becoming teachers by recruiting, counseling, and assisting these individuals through the process. Building upon its past success, the Ohio TTT program plans to expand and enhance its services to military service members, veterans, spouses and high-need schools in the coming years.
