Project Description The objective of the project is to selectively remove defective and failed interior liner system materials within Egg-Shaped Digesters No. 1, No. 2 & No. 4 and apply new liner system compatible with wastewater thermophilic process temperatures for long-term ESD asset internal corrosion resistance, maintenance and operational reliability. Additionally, perform selective mechanical valve and appurtenance replacement on the egg-shaped digesters and associated process piping. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, California. The Contract will be awarded to the responsible Bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid. A Class “A” California Contractors License is required to bid. Furthermore, each listed subcontractor must possess appropriate active licenses for the work each subcontractor will be performing. Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 13.00% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 13.00% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement. The requirement is less than 20% due to the limited scopes of work available for LBE subcontractors. In addition, the scaffolding work required for this project has been performed by specialty scaffolding subcontractors. Please contact Jason Chow at (415) 554-3103 for further information.
