OAKRIDGE SCHOOL DISTRICT IMPROVEMENTS Bids Due 2:00 pm, December 17, 2019 INVITATION TO BID ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS: Oakridge School District Improvements Bid Package 1: Oakridge Junior and Senior High School Fire Alarm System Replacement Bid Package 2: Oakridge Elementary School Fire Alarm System Replacement Oakridge, Oregon McKenzie Commercial Contractors, Inc., acting as Construction Manag er/General Contractor (CM/GC) for the Oakridge School District, will receive subcontractor bids for the construction of the Oakridge Junior and Senior High School and Oakridge Elementary School Fire Alarm System Replacement projects, as follows: PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Briefly, the work consists of design and construction of a replacement fire alarm system for Oakridge Junior and Senior High Schools and Oakridge Elementary School located in Oakridge, Oregon. BID RECEIPT: Sealed bids will be received by the CM/GC until 2:00 p.m., local time, Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at the McKenzie Commercial office located at 865 West Second Avenue, Eugene, Oregon 97402. Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Form, and clearly marked with the project name as well as the name and number of the individual bid package(s) for which the bid is submitted, as follows: "Oakridge School District Improve ments, Bid Package 1: OJHSHS Fire Alarm Replacement" "Oakridge School District Improve ments, Bid Package 2: OES Fire Alarm Replacement" Bids for the Oakridge School District Fire Alarm Replacement project may, at Bidder's option, be faxed or emailed in accordance with the Bidding Requirements directly to the CM/GC as follows: Fax: 541-343-3306 Email: [email protected] On the date and time above all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. PREBID MEETING: An examination of Oakridge School District Improvement Projects site and conditions for interested bidders will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., local time, Friday, December 6, 2019 at the project site. Bidders shall meet with the CM/GC's repre sentative at the main entrance of Oakridge School District office located at 47997 1st Street, Oakridge, Oregon 97463. Attendance at the Oakridge School District Improvement project Pre-bid Meeting is mandatory for Bidders of the following Bid Packages: Bid Package 1: OJHSHS Improvement Project Bid Package 1.20 - Fire Alarm System Bid Package 2: OES Improvement Project Bid Package 2.20 - Fire Alarm System Bids submitted for these Bid Packages from Bidders not in attendance at the Pre-bid Meeting will not be considered or read. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Qualification requirements for individual bid packages are stated in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents. Bidders must submit their qualifications for approval in accordance with the quali fi cation requirements stated in the Instructions to Bidders and elsewhere in the Bidding Docu ments.
