HEAD START OF LANE COUNTY BID PACKAGE 1: CLEAR LAKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Bids due 2:00 pm, September 23, 2021 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS McKenzie Commercial Contractors, Inc., acting as Construction Manag er/General Contractor for Head Start of Lane County, will receive subcontractor bids for the construction of the Clear Lake Elementary School project, as follows: PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Briefly, the work consists of all plumbing, electrical, civil and landscape work for construction of new owner furnished modular classroom building located adjacent to the Clear Lake Elementary School Campus in Eugene, Oregon. BID RECEIPT: Sealed bids will be received by the CM/GC until 2:00 p.m., local time, Thursday September 23, 2021 at the McKenzie Commercial office located at 865 West Second Avenue, Eugene, Oregon 97402. Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Form, and clearly marked with the project name as well as the name and number of the individual bid package(s) for which the bid is submitted, as follows: "Head Start of Lane County, Bid Package 1: Clear Lake Elementary Project" Bids for Clear Lake Elementary project may, at Bidder's option, be faxed or emailed in accordance with the Bidding Requirements directly to the CM/GC as follows: Fax: 541-343-3306 Email: [email protected] McKenzie Commercial Contractors, Inc. intends to submit bids to perform work on certain bid packages. Sealed Bids are required for those Bid Packages noted in the Instructions to Bidders. On the date and time above all bids will be publically opened and read aloud. PREBID MEETING: An examination of Clear Lake Elemen tary School project site and condi tions for interested bidders will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., local time, Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the project site. Bidders shall meet with the CM/GC's representative at the project site adjacent to Clear Lake Elementary School located at 4646 Barger Drive, Eugene, OR 97402. Attendance at the Clear Lake Elemen tary School project Pre-bid Meeting is non -mandatory. Bidders' attendance is strongly encouraged to familiarize them selves with the project site conditions and requirements. BIDDING DOCUMENTS: Bidding Documents, consisting of plans, specifications, and bidding require ments, may be examined at the following location: McKenzie Commercial Contractors, Eugene, OR; Daily Journal of Commerce Plan Center, Portland, Oregon; Eugene Builders Exchange, Eugene, Oregon; Salem Contractors Exchange, Salem, Oregon; Premier Builders Exchange, Bend, OR. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Qualification requirements for individual bid packages are stated in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents. Bidders must submit their qualifications for approval in accordance with the quali fication requirements stated in the Instructions to Bidders and elsewhere in the Bidding Documents.
