The Defense Logistics Agency Contracting Services Office in Battle Creek, Michigan intends to place a sole source award to Nuance Communications, Inc.; 1 Wayside Rd; Burlington MA  01803-4609, for maintenance support for Nuance Voice Directory software.  Inspection, acceptance and F.O.B. are at destination Battle Creek, Michigan.

This procurement is for Nuance Communications Speech Attendant support, software updates, support website access, and webinar training sesions, and unlimited telephone support for Nuance Communication Speech attendant software in support of the DLA mission requirements for Voice Directory Search of DLA Users in that Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center in Battle Creek, Michigan.  The following service is to be procured:
-Includes rights to all major and minor product releases
-Includes unlimited telephone support
-Includes ongoing Professional Names Recording service
-Includes periodic custom analysis reports, reports and any necessary modifications to improve system performance
-Includes the SpeechMonitor maintenance utility suite including:  automated data collection, backups, daily name recordings, system monitoring

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, award will be made to Nuance Communictions, Inc. as they are the owner of the subscription and are the only known source who can provide this service.  If there are any other firms who can satisfy this requirement, please submit a proposal by 12 p.m. ET September 12, 2013.
