Project Description: The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment to construct a new bridge on Elk Grove-Florin Road over Elder Creek and to widen Elk Grove-Florin Road to four lanes from Gerber Road to Florin Road. Project work includes clearing and grubbing; bridge and retaining wall construction; creek channel excavation and construction, pavement removal, tree stump removal, bridge removal, roadway excavation, installation of curb, gutter, sidewalk, placement of aggregate base, asphalt concrete, slurry seal, striping; median construction; installation of landscaping and associated irrigation; installation of potable water main, storm drain; and traffic signal installation, and doing all other work specified on the plans and in the special provisions.
