The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation-Richmond is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to determine if other companies are capable
of manufacturing NSN: 2810-01471-9893. Currently this item has one approved source, Rexnord Industries, LLC, CAGE: 91587. The current approved sole source of supply and part number is 901-340-503-101 Rev. F. This is a Bell Helicopter Textron Inc., source control item which the technical/Quality/Test Requirements for this part will be cited in conformanance with the listed drawing.
This Sources Sought is for informational purposes only. This is not a a request for proposal. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this annoucment.
No funds are available to pay for preparation of response to this Sources Sought Notice by December 28, 2015.
This market analysis is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet DLA Aviation's requirement for cable assembly products, adapter support cover spacer cables, mounting under the following
Federal Supply Classes:
• FSC 1420 - Other guided missiles parts
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate. Joint ventures or teaming arrangements are encouraged.
All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must update the spreadsheet and send to the email address below. Please provide the POCs and location of manufacturer (City & State or Country if applicable).

If your company desires to be reviewed and qualified as an "Approved Source" for any of the items in the Sources Sought Spreadsheet, submit an application package through the Source Approval Request (SAR) Program as outlined in the attached SAR document. A SAR package contains all of the technical data needed to demonstrate that the prospective contractor can competently manufacture the product to the same level of quality, or better than the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The onus is on the contractor to document and demonstate their product is equal to, or better, than the currently approved item which DLA Aviation is procuring.
If there is an open solicitation for a NSN which you want to submit a SAR, please submit the SAR directly to the buyer noted on the solicitation.
