There are four approved sources for this item, Health O Meter, Cage 14380 under part number 402, Cardinal Scale Manufacturing, Cage 17087 under part number MODEL 439, Scale People, Inc., Cage 66280 under part number 402 and, International Weighing Systems Inc., Cage 1VLZ7 under part number SECA700. Technical Orders and Qualification Requirements are not available. Potential sources shall be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities and equipment required to accomplish the new manufacture of the item(s). Generally, this entails the procurement/manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping.

The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The anticipated maximum annual quantity is 794 each. Unit prices will be established at the time of contract award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 333997.
