This requirement is for an Indefinite Quantity Contract for NSN 6340-01-008-7634, SENSING ELEMENT, FIRE DETECTOR SYSTEM. There are two approved sources for this item, Kiddie Technologies Inc., dba Fenwal, Cage 73168 under part number 35558-2-400 and Northrop Grumman Systems, Cage 26512 under part number 160C9555920-39.  The requirement is being solicited as a Unrestricted.

Contract period is for one (1) base year with option to extend term of contract for four (4) one-year periods. Estimated maximum annual demand quantity is 33 each per base year and each option years. Surge requirements do not apply. This is a critical application item, and higher level quality requirements do apply. Required delivery is 491 days ARO. FOB is Destination; Inspection/Acceptance at Origin is required.

The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
