On or about 17 September 2012, the Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a sole-source cost plus fixed fee order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-11-G-0001 with The Boeing Company (Boeing) of St. Louis, Missouri 63166, for the procurement of nonrecurring effort for ECP 6419 for Motion Sensor Subsystem (MSS) Parts Obsolescence; more specifically, re-design efforts to replace obsolete components in the MSS and to ensure integration with the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G. Planned period of performance is from 17 September 2012 through 16 September 2013. Boeing is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft in their various configurations and is the only source with the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary to accomplish this effort. Any interested party must have the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary accomplish this effort within schedule requirements. Any respondent must also submit a Statement of Qualifications to demonstrate respondent's ability to perform to the Government's needs within the required response time.
