Solicitation number AG-82AK-S-14-0008 is being issued as a request for proposal.

This project is set aside for small business concerns under NAICS code 115310 Support Activities for Forestry, small business size standard $7.0M.

The intent of this contract is to apply herbicides to approximately 170 combined acres of Canada Thistle, Russian Knapweed, hoary Cress(short white top), perennial pepper weed (tall white top, ironweed), cheat grass, Oxide Daisy, yellow toadflax or other noxious weeds or invasive weed species listed by the State of Colorado.  Project sites are located on the Rio Grande National Forest in south central Colorado.

Item 1 - Conejos Peak Ranger District-noxious weed treatment, 55 acres
Item 2 - Divide Ranger District-noxious weed treatment, 115 acres

Period of Performance: Approximately June 16 through September 30, 2014.
