The Bureau of Indian Affairs is issuing this notice as a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation RMA00090015 is issued as a Request For Quote. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-30. This is a small business set-aside. The Burea of Indian Affairs is soliciting Request for Qutoes for GPS mapping and ground application for spraying of noxiuos weeds for approximately 800 acres located within the boundaries of the Standing Rock Indian Reservation, North Dakota. Quotes must contain adequate information to demonstrate Contractors possession of the following requirements: 1. North Dakota or South Dakota commercially certified pesticides applicator; 2. Have North Dakota or South Dakota residence or Company headquartered in North Dakota or South Dakota; 3. Be a company with a minimum or 5 years experience as a prime contractor in the application of herbicides covering the control of noxious weeds. Maps and database will show spray activity separated by species of weeds, Map points will suffice for acreages less that 5 acres, while polygons should be used for larger that 5 acre treatment activitites, and lines for continous parallel infestations along roads, streams, fencelines, and lakes; 4. Provide a listing of all previous jobs of similar size an dscope of work contained in this solicitation for the past 3 years. This list shall include a brief description of th econtract, price, performance dates, name, arress and telephone number of the Company or Agency that let the contract; 5. Provide proof of insurance prior to being awarded the contract. This will be a fixed price contract with an estimated price range of $25,000 - $50,000. If interested see the accompanied SF-18.
