Goodfellow AFB, located in San Angelo, Texas, requires a purchase order for noxious brush removal. A brief overview of the required work is as follows: shred scrub brush and low-growing vegetation, remove mesquite trees and prickly pear cactus from a 31.60 acre area located in the southeast portion of the base. The cleared area will be seeded and then monitored for growth monthly until the entire area is covered in native grassland prairie plant species. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary to perform all work involved in the aforementioned contract in accordance with all specifications and the Statement of Work. The work will be listed as a single line item, CLIN 0001, with a quantity and unit of issue of "1 each". The requirement will be solicited as a request for written quotation (RFQ) and evaluated under procedures of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Product Service Code is S208. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730, the Size Standard is $7.5 Million. The acquisition is a 100% small business set aside in accordance with FAR 19.5. Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be posted to the GPE and made available on or after 14 July 2017. The government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to the responsible vendor whose quote conforms to the requirements of the RFQ and is most advantageous to the Government. The anticipated award date for this requirement is no later than 30 September 2017. The anticipated performance period will be 120 to 180 days after the award date of the purchase order. All responsible contractors may submit a quotation and will be considered by 17 CONS. Please ensure the quotation is valid through 30 Sep 17.
