The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is planning for the possibility of a lapse in appropriations at midnight on September 30, 2015. The Administration strongly believes that a lapse in appropriations should not occur. However, at this time, prudent management requires that the government plan for the possibility of a lapse and the NRC is working with OMB to take appropriate action. Should a lapse occur, information regarding specific contracts and their status will be emailed to NRC’s contractors during the week of September 28.
