NOTICE TO BIDDERS ERIE COUNTY, OHIO BERLIN HEIGHTS ELEVATED WATER STORAGE TANK PAINTING AND REHAB REBID Sealed bids will be received by the Erie County Commissioners, Room 327, 2900 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, Ohio 44870 not later than 9:35 a.m., Local Time, May 18,2022, as per O.R.C. 307.86 et seq., and opened immediately thereafter to furnish all labor and material for the following described improvement: BERLIN HEIGHTS ELEVATED WATER STORAGE TANKPAINTING AND REHAB REBID The estimated base bid construction cost for this project is as follows:$431,100.00. Ohio Prevailing Wage rates must be paid on this project. The Bidder will be required to conform to all provisions of the Ohio Prevailing Wage Law and related labor requirements and regulations. All businesses, including minority owned, female owned, or small businesses are encouraged to submit bids. Where there is reason to believe that collusion exists among bidders, the bids of those involved will be rejected. Erie County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularity in any bid, and to determine the lowest and best bidder. Sealed proposals will be received by the Board of Erie County Commissioners, Room 327,2900 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, Ohio 44870 not later than 9:30 a.m., Local Time, Wednesday June 8, 2022, when receipt of proposal will be acknowledged and guaranty verified publicly to provide a NEW 2022/2023MODEL OR REMANUFACTURED USED, LOW HOUR COMPACTOR FOR ERIE COUNTY LANDFILL. Seal and endorse the proposal: ERIE COUNTY LANDFILL COMPACTOR All proposals must be signed and submitted on the form furnished in the RFP and must contain the name of every interested party therein. Proposals shall be accompanied by a guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or money order on a solvent bank or savings and loan in the amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) drawn in favor of the Erie County Commissioners. Checks will be returned upon placement of the formal order with the successful offeror. All businesses, including minority-owned, female-owned, or small businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. Where there is reason to believe that collusion exists among offerors, the proposals of those involved will be rejected. Be advised that ORC 5719.042provides that no contract be awarded until the successful bidder submits a statement informing the County Auditor of any delinquent personal property taxes owed to Erie County.
