Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to serve as a sponsor and participate in the 2019 HENAAC Conference. This national conference offers a wide range of outreach and networking opportunities focused on the science, technology ,engineering and math (STEM) career fields.
In 2013, NAVSEA established a Recruiting Partnership with NAVAIR, NAVFAC, NAVSUP, and SPAWAR to foster and support a collaborative, fully-integrated recruiting approach across the Command. In addition to the partnership's annual meeting, an Executive Steering Committee (ESC) was formed in 2008 and meets on a monthly basis. During their annual and monthly meetings these groups discuss strategies to ensure recruiting and hiring plans are met with the best value to NAVSEA and the U.S. Navy. A recruiting schedule of events is developed before each fiscal year and is based upon vast corporate experience, yearly metrics and the current health of the NAVSEA workforce. Based upon these evaluations this recruiting event has been approved and vetted by all members.
The event will take place in Orlando FL. The conference will run from September 25-29, 2019. NAVSEA's presence at the Conference & Career Fair will include recruiters from multiple activities across the Command.
Under this order, NAVSEA will receive the benefits of a career fair booth package, among other benefits.
