Pursuant to (FAR) 13.106-1(b), The National Science Foundation (NSF), Division of Industrial Innovation and Partnerships (IIP) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order for the Sponsorship with the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) 2021 to be held on October 28 – 30, 2021.
Founded in 1973, SACNAS is an inclusive organization dedicated to fostering the success of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans, from college students to professionals, in attaining advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in STEM. For the last 47 years, we have been working to make sure that those most underrepresented in STEM have the support they need to attain advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership. At SACNAS, we understand that diverse voices bring creative solutions to our world’s most pressing scientific problems. That is why we are building a national network that is innovative, powerful, and inclusive.
The SACNAS Conference is the only one event capable of meeting NSF's need to connect with those most underrepresented in STEM and to provide the support they need to attain advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership.
The Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science, Inc. is the only organization of its kind that can provide this Sponsorship.
