Notice of Intent to sole source Arkray Service and Consumables

The contracting office, Naval Hospital Bremerton, Bremerton, WA, intends to award a sole source, fixed-price contract to U.S. Arkray, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i) for the service on the Arkray Aution Max AX-4280 Analyzer, plus Quarterly delivery of consumables.
This award will be made to U.S. Arkray, 5198 W 76th ST, Edina, MA 55439-2900. The sole source justification is based on Arkray being the manufacturer and only vendor that can provide the Service and consumables compatible with the existing vendor owned analyzer. If a vendor challenges the basis of this requirement, please email product capability statement to Mary Gilman @ [email protected]. Email challenges are preferred. Closing date of this notice is 9/16/19.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334516, with a size standard of 1000. Period of Performance is 10/18/19 - 03/31/2018. This procedure will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
