The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a), Only One Responsible Source based on the Government's need to acquire additional product to complete already initiated testing as well as acquire the next innovation of product from Honeywell for comparison. The required products are proprietary to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Honeywell International Inc., 15801 Woods Edge Road, Colonial Heights, Virginia, 23834, for quantity(qty) twenty-five (25) boxes of Spectrashield II SR 3124 & qty ten (10) Spectrashield II SR 5143 fiber reinforced prelam material.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
