The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to award a firm fixed price order to Werres Corportation doing business at; 807 East South Street, Frederick, MD 21701, on a sole source basis in relation to essential operating components to support primary material handling equipment units and select options seperately acquired pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 8.405-1. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), authority to solicit from a single source when only one source can meet the requirement is hereby made as no other manufacturer can provide the essential operating components for the primary brand name equipment units. The procurement is under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold.
