Notice of intent to award a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13) and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). This notice is for information only, a solicitation will not be issued. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811212, Computer and Office Machine repair and Maintenance with a size standard of $25M. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to negotiate a sole source contract for maintenance on (4) Forum Sentry Servers provided by Forum Systems. The Government believes Forum Systems is the only source that will satisfy the agency requirements. The Government is contracting for maintenance service on existing Forum Sentry Servers from which Forum Systems is the only known source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes that it can meet the specifications above may give written notification to the Contracting Officer.
