Job Corps is a national training program that provides comprehensive academic, residential and career technical training services to approximately 60,000 disadvantaged youth each year at 125 Job Corps centers nationwide.
The requirement is for the operation of the Cassadaga Job Corps Center located in Chautauqua County, Cassadaga, New York. The anticipated period of performance is a twelve (12) month base period with the option to extend the term of the contract for another twelve (12) months (two 6 months options). The requirement includes the provision of academic, career technical, career success skills, and career development training, and related support services, for an estimated 245 students (240 residential, 5 non-residential). The contractor shall operate residential quarters (housing) and service to all students as applicable.
The anticipated Period of Performance is;
Base: March 1, 2016 through February 28, 2017
Option1: March 1, 2017 through August 31st, 2017
Option 2: September 1, 2017 through February 28, 2018
This is a Special Notice of the intent to award sole source contract. It is published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals.
