The Office of Multifamily Housing, Asset Management with their Federal Housing Administration (FHA) Programs is responsible for assisting multifamily mortgages and property inventories under a variety of FHA programs. The Department assumes the role of mortgagee or lender when the borrower defaults on the loan.
The Mortgage Loan Servicing (MLS) is for Conventional, Mark-to Market (M2M) and DEMO notes, property disposition portfolio services, as well as accounting services for all HUD-held notes. The work encompasses a broad but integrated set of functions for HUD-held notes and properties. MLS is a high priority and critical to the successful performance of mortgage loan servicing functions. MLS for mortgage and property servicing entails not only financial aspects of the HUD-held first, second and subordinate notes, mortgage portfolios and properties, but also requires response to a wide variety of incoming inquiries from HUD personnel, borrowers, auditors, billing agents, vendors attorneys and local taxing authorities.
The period of performance is for a 6-month base period with one 6 month optional period. The NAICS code is 522390 and the size standard is $20.5 million. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations.
However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may submit a written response via email to Carmen Calloway at the email address below by 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on December 21, 2018. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Information received will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, HUD will proceed with the sole source award to Dynaxys LLC. The anticipated award date of this requirement is no later than January 7, 2019.
