The U.S. Maritime Administration intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis from UMOE SCHAT HARDING, INC. 912 Highway 90 East, New Iberia LA 70560-8764. services to provide and install Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts for the Lifeboats on the Training Ship EMPIRE STATE (TSES) at the vessel's layberth, State University of New York, #6 Pennyfield Avenue, Bronx, NY 10465.

UMOE SHAT HARDING, INC. is the OEM and, as such, maintains a unique ability to provide replacement parts and service the equipment to comply with the original design specifications in order to achieve maximum performance reliability, durability and safe operation of this high speed rotating equipment.

This notice is not a request for proposals/quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirements by emailing their Capability Statement (CS) or faxing the CS to 757-322-5858 by 1430 ET, March 26, 2012.
