Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to modify Contract Number N00019-10-D-0017 with The Boeing Company, 6001 South Air Depot Blvd. Oklahoma City, OK 73145. Under this contract, Boeing provides Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) services for the U.S. Naval Reserve's C-40A aircraft fleet through July 2015. The contract includes routine depot maintenance and site support at each of the C-40A operating sites as well as provisions for Over-and-Above (O&A) work to be performed as necessary.

The purpose of this modification is to add ceiling to CLIN 0421, Over-and-Above Serialized Control Items, for an engine fan disk replacement. This contract modification is within the scope of the contract and is an emergency repair required for mission-critical performance. This action establishes a contract ceiling increase of $236,909.00 with no change to the period of performance.

This notice of intent for a contract modification is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. A solicitation will not be issued in response to this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete, based upon response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
