The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) / National Center for Environmental Health (NECH), Clinical Chemistry Branch, Atlanta, GA intends to award a sole source firm fixed price Purchase Order to Solomon Park Research Laboratories, Incorporated, Kirkland, Washington; to purchase 2 sets of multiple serum pools of commutable frozen human serum pools derived from units of whole blood prepared in accordance to Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) document C-37A.

This supply of serum pools is needed to assure continuity and to assure the accuracy of measurement testing for the selected analytes specific to the sTFR Standardization Program which is executed for biomonitoring assessments at requested specification,

Solomon Park Research Laboratories is the sole source for this product based on previous usage of this product in the processing of samples for analysis of specific analytes as part of the NCEH/Clinical Chemistry Branch Laboratory activities.

This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP).

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within 2 business days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government.

A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
