THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE - THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD CONTRACT TO SIEMENS INDUSTRY, INC, 6435 VIRGINIA MANOR ROAD, BELTSVILLE, MD 20705, TO PROVIDE ANNUAL MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR THE SIEMENS BUILDING AUTOMATION SYSTEM. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) intends to award a sole source contract under the statutory authority permitting soliciting from a single in accordance with FAR 13.106-1 (b) on the basis that the Federal Trade Commission know of no other entity that can provide the required services. The FTC intends to issue a contract to Siemens Industry, Inc., 6435 Virginia Manor Road, Beltsville, MD 20705, in an effort entitled FTC Annual Maintenance Services for the Siemens Building Automation System. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement via email in Microsoft Word format with a file size less than 5MB to Steve Slagle, via email: [email protected], Subject Line: Annual Maintenance for the Siemens Building Automation System no later than 3:00 pm EST, December 10, 2014. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the services required including the technical expertise and authorization to service the Siemens Building Automation System and it shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating a firm's bona fide capability to provide these services.
