ELECTIRCAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT COMPONENTS. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), Region 3, Division of Construction and Acquisition at Ft. Snelling, Minnesota, intends to procure on a sole-source basis with Hach Hydromet, of Loveland, Colorado for water monitor multi-probes needed to continue a three year water quality study at Agassiz National Wildlife Refuge, Middle River, Minnesota. The study is a cooperative effort between the Service, U.S. Geological Survey, and Red Lake Watershed District. The study consists of eight sites at which water quality parameters have been continuously monitored for the past two years. The items are replacements for damaged probes. Certain water quality parameters, such as turbidity, are relative to the type of probe making the measurement. Therefore, it is essential for data parity, that the probes are Hach Hydromet for comparing data from other sites and previous year's data sets. It is also essential that this equipment interface with the cooperator's software and display units.
