Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SSC-LANT), N. Charleston, SC, intends to issue a modification to extend the period of performance under Contract N65236-10-D-6841 which was awarded to Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 on 16 September 2010 in the amount of $46,854,448.00, for a base year and four (4) option years. The original services included, engineering and technical services (ETS), repair and procurement services to the Navy Tactical Cryptologic Systems, sites, and installations. The intended contract modification will extend the period of performance from 16 Sep 2015 to 15 March 2016. The NAICS Code is 541330 and the size standard is $15 million. This is a notice of intent and is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Any responses to this notice should show clear and convincing evidence that competition of the work required would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract modification for a period of performance extension based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
