Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SSC Atlantic), Charleston, SC, intends to extend the ordering period on contract N66001-09-D-0037 with General Dynamics Information Technologies, Inc. (GDIT) for an additional 12 months. This 12 month extension is to provide continuity of support and ensure timely execution of C4I and tactical communication services to meet warfighter needs. This extension is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory of 10 U.S.C.2304 (c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of the work required would be advantageous to the Government.
