Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), Millington, TN, a Nonappropriated Fund Instrumentality (NAFI) of the Federal Government intends to award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price Contract with 4 option years to USA Today newspapers.  Navy Gateway Inns & Suites at Navy installations, both continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS) may place delivery orders against this contract.  Additionally, other Department of Defense transient lodging operations are authorized, if they so choose, to place delivery orders against this contract.  The estimated contract cost over five years is expected to be $656,250.00. 

Background: NGIS provides temporary lodging accommodations for active duty personnel, reservists, government employees and others associated with the Navy.  NGIS activities are located on Navy installations in CONUS and OCONUS.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however interested parties may identify their interest and capabillity to respond to the requirement.  Interested parties with the capability of meeting the proposed requirements are requested to provide by email to the Contract Specialist listed above their capabilities and approximate pricing for locations in and outside Continental United States by the response date. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.  It is at the sole discretion of the NAFI to not compete on a full and open competition basis.
