The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central intends to award a sole source fixed price contract with Lucigen Corporation for specialized laboratory services needed to support the Whole Genome and Metagenomics Sequencing research project. The Government requirement is to obtain non-personal services The requirement is for specialized laboratory services needed to support the Whole Genome and Metagenomics Sequencing research project, which requires specialized DNA sequencing, instrumentation, and bioinformatics analysis that is not available on-site at Brooke Army Medical Center. The specialized library construction method will be utilized to construct a fragmented DNA library from 15 96-well plates of either fragment (shotgun), 16S rDNA amplicon targets, and intergenic spacer amplicon (ITS). The library kit will work with either library prep methodologies.
