THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS.  The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Office of Acquisition on behalf of the Office of Quality Operations intends to award a sole source contract for preventative maintenance or calibration on the Ci3000+Fade-Ometer.  The Government intends to award a sole source contract utilizing "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" IAW FAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii).  The Period of Performance is a twelve (12) month base and four (4) twelve (12) month options.  The place of performance:  Washington, DC.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers / quotes / proposals.  A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the descretion of the government.  Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.  The solicitation will not be posted.  To be considered, responses must be received NO LATER THAN 1:00PM, EASTERN STANDARD TIME, July 1, 2020.  Additionaly, interested sources must be registered and currently active in the System for Award Management (SAM), found at https://www.sam.gov.  Responses MUST be submitted within the closing date / time of publication of this notice.  Point of contact regarding this notice is Angel Walls, [email protected] or Dr. Michelle Duncan, Contracting Officer [email protected].
