This Notice of Intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS) on behalf of the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory (NPPTL). NPPTL has a requirement for multiple Honeywell Morning Pride brand Fire Fighter gear for utilization in a research study.

The intended recipient of this purchase order is: Honeywell First Responders Products located at #1 Innovation Court, Dayton, Ohio 45411.

This order is for supplies and/or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within 15 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
