Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific (Joint Base Lewis-McChord Health Contracting Cell), Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Beckman Coulter. Inc for a base period plus two-one year option periods in the estimated amount of $72,433.55 to purchase maintenance and repair service for an NAVIOS Flow Cytometer System. Beckman Coulter, Inc is the sole manufacturer and has proprietary rights on hardware/software of the Government owned NAVIOS Cytometer System currently used at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), JBLM, Tacoma, WA. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1.

This notice is not a request for quote/proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capabilities and specifications.
