Notice of Intent to Sole Source

Special Notice: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE) will be soliciting proposals for the Construction of a Corrosion Facility/Wash Rack Hangar located at Homestead ARB, FL. As part of the construction contract solicitation, USACE intends to include the following sole source requirements:

Fire Protection - Det-Tronics Optical Flame Detection/Releasing Panel System is required in accordance with Air Force criteria changed in 2009 to only permit the installation of Det-Tronics optical flame detectors with proven immunity to EMI from military radars.

Carrier chiller system is required in accordance with HVAC Chiller System Standardization, Single Manufacturer Selection which was issued by the Air Force Civil Engineer Center Director (AFCEC/CL) in May 2019.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Time on 19 June 2021 to [email protected]
