The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis to Harvard Kennedy School under the authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1. This acquisition is for Senior Executive Fellow Training. The purpose of this acquisition is to assist the HUD employees to focus on leadership issues and solutions. The period of performance is June 2, 2019 - May 22, 2020. The program include tuition, housing curricular materials and meals. Senior Executive Fellows training you will learn a strategic approach and framework for problem-solving, take on leadership role in the classroom and gain the tools necessary to look at issues from a new perspective. The leadership skill program incorporates the Office of Personnel Managements (OPM) Executive Core Qualification (ECQs) for Senior Executive Service (SES). Harvard Kennedy School is the only vendor that provide training services that meets the Government's needs. The NAICS code is 611430 and the size standard is $11.0. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may submit a written response via email to [email protected] by 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time on May 23, 2019 10:00 a.m. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Information received will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the HUD will proceed with the sole source award to Harvard Kennedy School. The anticipated award date of this requirement is around May 24th, 2019.
