The contractor shall perfomr additional 842 Intergration and Horizontal testing as risk mitiation for the initial deployent of a MOD 7 Software product tothe UK. 842 is being delivered in parallel with 944 FQT, therefore a more roubust 842 test effert is required asit is not following a completed FQT as originally planned.

Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA.  GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.  See Note 22.*****
