This NOTICE OF AWARD OF A NON COMPETITIVE ORDER is conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The authority for this award is FAR 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source; Purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The United States Railroad Retirement Board (RRB), Office of Inspector General (OIG) manages the Information Technology needs across RRB's OIG key day-to-day operations. The RRB has a requirement for renewal and upgrade of ACL Robotics Enterprise Platform Solutions software and support RRB OIG issued an order to DBA: Galvanize, ACL Services LTD, 980 Howe St., Suite 1500, Vancouver, BC V6Z 0C8 to provide ACL Robotics Enterprise Platform Solutions software and support for a period of one (1) year.  DBA: Galvanize, ACL Services LTD is the sole manufacturer and developer of the Software and exclusive provider of Galvanize certified technical services for the Software in North America and that no third parties are authorized to provide certified technical services for the Software in North America. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 423430. THE PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE IS TO SATISFY THE REQUIRMENTS OF FAR SUBPART 5.2. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responsible parties who identify their interest and capability to satisfy this requirement may be considered for next year’s procurement. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, all requests for the solicitation will be considered non-responsive. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor.
