Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.1061(b) (1), the NOAA Northeast Fisheries Science Center, Woods Hole, Massachusetts intends to issue a sole source award on behalf of the Oceanography Branch, to Gulf of Maine Lobster Foundation in an estimated amount of $30,000.00 to provide research necessary to continue the NEFSC Environmental Monitors on Lobster Traps (eMOLT) project. Research areas are identified as in and around all major fishing ports in the Northeast including for example, Rockland ME, Portland ME, the North Shore of Boston MA, New Bedford MA, Pt. Judith RI, and Cape May NJ. The objective of this requirement is an operational extension to NEFSC's Environmental Monitors on Lobster Traps (see emolt.org) and Northeast Cooperative Research Projects' Study Fleet Programs.
This notice is not a request for quote/proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated services can provide supporting documents demonstrating their capabilities. Responses
