Sealed bids will be received for the North Lee Street Drainage Improvements at the Americus City Hall, 101 West Lamar Street Americus, Georgia 31709 until December 16, 2020 at 11:00 am (Local Time), at which time they will be publicly opened and read. The work under this Contract will consist generally of the following: Storm drain system improvements, including traffic control, erosion control measures, and construction of ± 24 catch basins, ± 1,452 LF of, 66” RCP storm drain pipe, ± 307 LF of 36” RCP storm drain pipe, ± 838 LF of 30” RCP storm drain pipe, ± 202 LF of 24” RCP storm drain pipe, ± 2,927 LF of 6”x 24” Curb & Gutter, ± 1,121 SY of 4” Concrete Sidewalk, ± 6 conflict/junction boxes, remove existing storm drain pipe and boxes, striping, and all other necessary appurtenances for a complete job. All work on the Project must be completed within 270 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed. Bid shall be submitted on Bid Proposal Forms furnished for that purpose, in accordance with the Contract Documents and the Plans and Specifications, which are on file and may be reviewed at the office of the Mayor and the office of Hofstadter and Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 4571 Arkwright Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.
