This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13. The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground, Tenant Contracting Division, 6565 Surveillance Loop, Aberdeen, MD 21005 has a requirement to procure the following items:
CLIN 0001 LightCycler 480, Instrument II (96 well) real-time PCR machine and LightCycler software version LC 1.5.1.

The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) sole source purchase order to Roche Diagnostics, 9115 Hague Road, PO Box 50414, Indianapolis, IN 46250-0414. PHC requests the purchase of one (1) LightCycler 480, Instrument II (96 WELL) real-time PCR machine and LightCycler software version LC 1.5.1. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the Business Size Standard is 1000.

All responses received within five (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Time, 16 September 2019. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
