THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, AN INVITATION FOR BIDS, OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. FURTHER, IT DOES NOT REPRESENT A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR COSTS INCURRED IN PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF DATA OR ANY OTHER COSTS INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT

The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price modification to existing FCC Contract 273FCC20F0144 to Lentch, Inc. The order is a firm fixed price order with a twelve (12) month base period and a twelve (12) month option period. This action is a logical follow-on to order 273FCC20F0144 which was competitively awarded to Lentech, Inc on 08/27/2020 and does not change the period of performance. This modification will be issued under the authority of FAR 16.505(b)(2)(C)–  “The order must be issued on a sole-source basis In the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow on to an order already issued under the contract, provided that all awardees were given a fair opportunity to be considered for the original order.”.

The purpose of this requirement is to support the upgrade of FCC’s current version of webTA to the most recent version 5 release and provide the  installation onto FCC’s AWS cloud environment. All identified FCC customizations that are in the current environment will also be migrated into the version 5 release for install.  Executing this modification assures the work will be familiar and understood since it involves the same resources implementing the third-party environment management and the security authority to operate (ATO) by the same Contractor only allowed to provide services for the Partner/Reseller.
