SUBJECT:  Notice of intent to Sole Source  

SPECIAL NOTICE: THIS IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY.  Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), Washington, is executing a construction contract for MILCON P114 Medical Center Addition/Alteration at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Naval Support Activity Bethesda.  As part of the construction contract, NAVFAC intends to include the following sole source requirement:

The Direct Digital Controls (DDC) selected for use on the WRNMMC project at NSA Bethesda, MD, will be manufactured by Johnson Controls International (JCI).  The WRNMMC campus currently has JCI devices installed in buildings 9, 9A, and 10.  In order to ensure connectivity, the system components shall integrate into the existing system allowing for seamless operational connections and efficiencies.  JCI is the only manufacturer that can fulfill the DDC requirements in these buildings due to the currently installed components.

*This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to Lindsay brown at [email protected] by 22 July 2022 at 12:00 PM.  All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein.
