The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Accusoft Corporation located at 4001 N. Riverside Drive; Tampa, FL 33603 for the renewal of maintenance of Accusoft Barcode, Scanfix and ImageGear software . This software is proprietary only to Accusoft Corporation who is the sole source provider of and has access to the source code necessary to provide the required maintenance subscription that is comprised of version upgrades, updates, fixes and technical support via telephone, internet and email for the period of 12 months. Accusoft Corporation is the only authorized seller for Barcode, Scanfix and ImageGear software. The authority for this acquisition is set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) "Soliciting from a Single Source." Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. This is not a request for quotation, and the Government does not intend to pay for information received. A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
