This Notice of Intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS) on behalf of the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), Division of Applied Research and Technology (DART), Biomonitoring and Health Assesement Branch (BHAB). BHAB has a requirement for aptamer research and development/discovery protocol which includes: protocol deveopment, raw materials, SELEX performance, VENNmultiplex SELEX analysis, high throughput analysis and lateral flow assay prototyping.

The intended recipient of this purchase order is Base Pair Biotechnologies, Inc. located at 8619 Broadway Street, Suite 100, Pearland, Texas 77584.

This order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice and/or submitting proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive responses; however, all proposals received within 15 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
