This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 70FA4021QPLEXIGLASS02, and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-62. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 337215 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, and only qualified offerors may submit quotes. The items [81 40” high x 60” wide desk panels; One (1) 40” high by 33” wide desk panels; 50 47” high x 69” wide long side panels; and 12 40” high x 30” wide short side panels of acrylic or plexiglass barriers to be installed at government location in Herndon VA] for this requirement will be listed in the below Performance Work Statement (PWS) document. The acrylic/plexiglass sheets are to be installed within 10 business days after contract award. The provision at 52.212-1 [Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items] applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 [Evaluation-Commercial Items] applies to this acquisition. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form (SF) 1449 to the offeror whose quote is the lowest price technically acceptable – see evaluation factors at the bottom of this document – and will contain all clauses required by law and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Past Performance Questionnaires from Offeror’s previous customers are due at same time quotes from Offerors are due [Part II of the PPQ must be submitted by a previous customer of the offeror]. Offerors will provide a statement that the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items [52.212-3 (52.204-8)] is up-to-date, and the offeror must registered in the System for Award Management database https://www.sam.gov/SAM/ when submitting an offer or quotation as required by 52.204-7(b)(1). The clause at 52.212-4 [Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items] applies to this acquisition.
