PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Menifee hereinafter referred to as the Agency, invites sealed bids for the above stated Project up to time of 3:00PM, on December 11, 2023. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The contract will be used on an as-needed basis, and in general, involves work related to replacing and repairing damaged guardrails. The contract may be extended for one year up to two times. LOCATION OF WORK The work to be constructed is located throughout the City of Menifee, within public right-of-way. PROJECT TIMELINE The contract amount for the one-year term of the contract is $60,000. If agreed, the City and Contractor may choose to extend the contract for one year, up to two times. The contract amount for each one-year extension will be $60,000. The usages of the services are on an as-needed basis, so if the demand is not there, then the services will not be requested. These is no guarantee for work. It is estimated that this contract will be awarded on January 17, 2024, by the City Council. The Initial Contract Period shall be effective from February 1, 2024, through January 31, 2025, plus TWO (2) single-year option renewal periods at the discretion of the City. Bid prices shall remain effective and in force for the entire Initial Contract Period, including any optional extension exercised.
